Copyright & AI Disclosure
Where we stand on AI, authorship, and the rights of the people who make the work.
This is not boilerplate. The AI Entertainment Conference exists because we believe artificial intelligence, used with intention, is a force for the democratization of storytelling, a way for people without conventional means, training, or access to finally make the work they carry inside them. “AI allows the mind to go where the hands cannot.”
Our stance
We celebrate AI as a creative collaborator, not a replacement for the artist. The vision, the taste, and the authorship remain human. We hold space for hard questions about the medium, and we’d rather ask them openly than pretend they don’t exist.
Disclosure expectations
We ask every submitter to disclose how AI was used in their work, the tools, and the role those tools played. Disclosure is not a penalty; it is part of an honest conversation about a new art form, and it informs our judging.
Creator rights
- You retain ownership of your submitted work. Submitting to the festival does not transfer your copyright.
- You grant us a limited license to screen, display, and promote your work in connection with the festival and its coverage.
- You are responsible for holding the rights to the elements in your work, including any third-party material and training inputs where applicable.
Respect for others’ rights
We do not accept work that infringes the copyright, likeness, or other rights of third parties. If you believe content on this site or in the festival infringes your rights, contact info@aifilm3.com and we will respond promptly.
This stance will evolve alongside the technology and the law. We are committed to keeping it honest, current, and in the interest of the creators who make this community what it is.
